Returning soon

Queens.

Used to run Wednesdays, 6:00 – 8:30 PM Jamaica, near the transit hub

The Queens route is on pause — coming back as soon as we have the sustainers to cover it. The Wednesday Jamaica stop caught commuters, families, and seniors heading home.

Queens Hope Bus route — returning soon
The story

What this route did, and what we want back.

The Queens route ran every Wednesday at Jamaica, near the transit hub, serving about 260 hot meals each week. Queens leans on a multilingual crew — we serve in English, Spanish, and Bengali most weeks.

We paused this route while we focused funding on the two routes already running. To restart Queens, we need a dedicated sustainer base — neighbors, mosques, and local sponsors committed to covering the monthly run.

If your community wants this bus back, we want to bring it back.

Help bring the Queens route back

Fund the return. The bus restarts when the sustainer base does.

Become a founding monthly sustainer for Queens, or send a one-time gift tagged to this route. Once we hit the baseline to cover a weekly run, we restart — and you'll be the first to know the date.

Cancel any time. 501(c)(3), tax-deductible under UMMA Foundation.
